- What type of HVAC system do you have? (conventional heating and cooling, just heating, heat pump)
- Is the thermostat's display seated properly on the backplate mounted on the wall?
- Are all the wires of your thermostat connected firmly in its terminals (with no loose or exposed wires)?
- Do you have an error message or error codes on your thermostat display or app?
- Do you have a previous thermostat before the Nest thermostat? If so, can you please provide me a picture with the wiring.
- Can you please provide me with a picture of your Nest thermostat wiring?
