Hi, I am using nest thermostat 1st generation. Heat is working correctly. But when I set to cool, thermostat shows it is cooling, but it's actually heating up the house and hot air blows from vent. Please advise how to resolve this issue and attached wiring pic. I followed all instructions as per setup guide etc.

Hiya Baskar,
Thanks for reaching out to our community.
Your thermostat should be able to heat and cool your home no problem, but since there's something going on, let's get deep into it and get it working once again.
Can you tell us how are your wires originally labeled? If the system is only able to heat or only able to cool, it could mostly be because of an improper wiring configuration. Different systems need to activate wires in different ways to get the proper result.
My recommendation would be to try and set it up again, while making sure you're entering the wires correctly. If you have trouble figuring out the correct labels for the system, you can check where the wires are directly connected at the baseboard of your HVAC unit. Make sure to be careful and turn off the power before handling any electrical components!
Let me know how it goes.
Regards,
Angel.
