What makes you think the light would go off by removing the connection at terminal 6? Terminal 6 is the connection feeding the water circuit, the outgoing side of the relay!
Has the system been working OK up until now?
Are you aware also the water schedule is set from 5pm, is that activated? Try dissable if it is.
Have you tried a restart of the display, NOT a reset?
