Nest thermostat ( newbe)

Hi All

Hoping you can help.

Got my Nest Thermostat Installation by the hubby but I'm not sure if its connected to the boiler plus hot water as i cant see it on the nest ...and I have no idea on how to use it(hope that doesn't sound silly)  it's installed on the landing and my boiler is in the kitchen? Have I got it installed in the right area? Iv a Viessmann Boiler. Please please help thank you

Hello there! Thanks for posting and rest assured I'll be more than happy to assist you with this. Would you be so kind and go to your thermostat and enter the following Settings -> Equipment -> Pro Setup and set it up as a system boiler with the Hot Water option to be ON/OFF.

I tried this what came up on the screen  Ebter Nest Id not sure what that means.. plus iv a combination boiler open Term. So do I turn my boiler on then use the Nest totally lost..

No worries at all. When you are in the Pro Setup, you'll need to select the options according to the characteristics of your personal heating system. In order to move through the settings, you switch the dial to move through options, then press on the dial to select, rotate to the option you want and when you reach it, press again to choose it and select it as the option you want.
