Thermostat-1.4
Worked all winter heating the house. I have gas heat. Switched over to AC, the unit turns on outside but the fan inside never turns on. Is this a setup issue, wiring issue, or hardware issue?

Update. I can run the inside fan manually in heat mode. If I start the fan timer while in heat mode, then switch it over to cool, now the fan outside will not turn on. So I either can the outside unit to run OR the inside unit to run, but not both.

Hello pfeiffer124,
Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your inquiry. I'd love to know more about this.
How did you wire your thermostat? Could you share with us a photo of your thermostat's wiring? Also, please check its power readings in the Technical Info settings if you have the Nest Learning Thermostat or Nest Thermostat E, or the Equipment settings for the Nest Thermostat 2020 model.
I'll look forward to your response.
Regards,
Mark

Thermostat is wired correctly. Confirmed with Google customer service rep over the phone. I'm installing the old thermostat.

I'm sorry you have to experience this, and we hope you can have a better time. Do you have any support ID numbers so I can review how your thermostat was labeled?
