Nest thermostat not showing up

I have a Nest thermostat. It is added in the Nest app but does not show up in the Google Home app. I have checked to make sure that they are both logged into the same account. I have deleted the thermostat, uninstalled the apps, and re-added the apps and thermostat. Same issue. Any help?

This is exactly the issue I am having. When I try to set up a a new device Nest does not show up in the "works with google" list like it does in every video I have watched.

I have same problem. I’ve deleted and uninstalled the app but every time I try to re-add the thermostat, it tells me it’s already added. It suggests going to settings to uninstall the thermostat, but I can’t find it in the settings!  I see others with same issue but no solution posted.
