Good morning, I have a nest thermostat that was replaced last year because the system isn't calling for heat and I'm getting alerts of a potentially urgent heating issue. My furnace is working fine. There is no ticking noises. No short cycling or anything else.Just not turning on! I really do not want to spend hours on the phone going over the wiring and testing when all of this was done over the phone when I replaced the thermostat. Very Frustrating and Very Disappointed!

Hello psanfil1,
I'm sorry to hear about the ongoing issues with your Nest Thermostat and the frustration it's causing. Given that you've already gone through the wiring and testing process over the phone,
To help you more efficiently, have you tried checking the thermostat settings to ensure that everything is configured correctly? Sometimes, a simple adjustment in the settings can resolve such issues. If that doesn't work, gather the power readings in the Technical Info settings. Ensure that your thermostat is receiving power. Sometimes, issues can arise if there's a problem with the power supply to the thermostat. Also, as this may result from a power-related issue, inspect for any wiring reports or message codes in the Equipment settings.
I'll look forward to your response.
Best regards,
Mark

The system was working fine until it didn't. Now whether it's your thermostat that stopped working because it is massed produced and your quality control isn't what it used to be under the original company or they are plain junk I don't know. Very Frustrated! I had to go and buy a different thermostat to heat my house and it is working flawlessly.
