My Nest is not programmed with a schedule and is set to Eco. I turned it on manually to heat my home for the first time this winter and off again later using the app (back to Eco). The thermostat then turned on my heating twice during the night (waking me up when the boiler came on) - each time I got up and turned it off manually at the device. My home wasn’t close to the minimum temperature. Does anyone have any ideas what the problem is and how to fix it please? Is it a problem with the app or the Nest itself?

Hello Shep066,
Thanks for reaching out! It sounds like you're dealing with an unexpected issue with your Nest Thermostat. To troubleshoot, you might want to check if there are any recent updates for the Nest app and ensure your thermostat's software is up-to-date. Additionally, reviewing the thermostat's energy history on the app might provide insights into what triggered the heating during the night. A screenshot would help.
Also, one potential solution could be to check if there are any conflicting schedules or settings in the app that might be triggering the heating system, such as the Routines and the Home and Away Assist.
Let me know how it goes.
Regards,
Mark
