Hi,
We had our Nest thermostat set up to the Nest app for years no problem but recently it stopped working with the app so I uninstalled everything to set it up again from scratch.
I have the app installed but now I can't get an entry key from the thermostat, it just gives me an error code saying it can't connect to the services currently try again later.
I've tried factory resetting the thermostat, turning the router off and on and using my phone as a hot-spot but no entry code will display.
Can you help please 🙏

On their announcement it says:

There is also an offer:
Europe: 50% off the Tado Smart Thermostat X - Starter Kit that can be set up alongside your other smart home devices in the Google Home app

Check which model of thermostat you have:
How to tell which Nest thermostat you have - Google Nest Help
If you have a Nest Learning Thermostat 1st or 2nd gen those are no longer supported and can no longer be controlled using the app I'm afraid.
End of support for Nest Learning Thermostats (1st & 2nd gen) - Google Nest Help
If that's not the case, and you have a supported model, let me know and I can advise on next steps.

Hi, thanks for your response. I have the Gen 2 thermostat 😥... which is annoying.
OK so if I buy a thermostat E how long will support for this last?
Thanks,
Scott.

Thanks again for your help and this offer.
Do you know if the Tado thermostat can be used with the Nest heatlink?
Thanks
