Nest thermostat

Hello i have had the nest learning thermostat installed for over a year now and all of a sudden for the past few weeks the heating only turns on when hot water is also enabled. I checked if the heat link is connected properly and it is. When hot water is off and i change the temp i hear click from heatsync but burner wont turn on. i dont think it is the wires as i had it profesionally installed and it was working perfectly 4 weeks ago. ive been trying to troubleshoot the problem ever since but no solution yet. can anyone help?

Hey there @MoonKnight,

I'm sorry to hear you've encountered this issue, but we'll find a resolution together. You said that you hear the click from the Heat Link when you try to call for heat, which means that the thermostat and the Heat Link communicate as expected. Can you tell me if the screen of the thermostat and the app shows that the heating is on when you call for heat?

Understood. Thanks for letting us know. Could you tell us please if you have a multi meter at hand or the possibility to borrow or get one? We'll need to perform a continuity test on the Heat Link's relays to find the piece that's not doing its job.

I do have a multi meter, how do i run a continuity test?
