Nest thermostat

Hey. I can’t control my nest from the app any

more. I’ve tried adding a product - it tells me it’s already connected to the app. I’ve tried uninstalling the app - no difference. I’m honestly totally confused. Can you help me?

Sorry for the delay by help is here. I just have a few questions to better understand what you're experiencing. 

 

What type of Nest thermostat do you have? Are you able to see it on your Nest app after signing in? If yes, are you getting a message when trying to access or change the settings of it? 

 

Please tell me more so I can dig deeper into it.

Hello. Thanks for getting in contact. I have a nest learning thermostat (with the blue level). When I open the app I only have the Home Screen showing. I can see messages from nest and I can see the outside temperature range. It also shows what I’ve named the device and an option to add a product. Apart from that I have nothing. I’ve tried attaching an image  of what shows up on the app but there’s not an option to attach anything

You're welcome and thanks for these added details. 

 

Are you logged into your Nest app using the same email address you used to set up your thermostat? If yes, could you try tapping on the arrow head pointing down at the top left corner then confirm if you only see one home? If you're using more than one, try selecting on the other home and check if you see your thermostat there.
