I'm trying to connect 2 Nest v3 Thermostats in Opentherm-configuration to my Vaillant CH.
It works with 1 thermostat. I can not connect the second thermostat. If I set the second one to Opentherm it gives an error message. Logic because only 1 thermostat can control the CH.
But if you have 1 thermostat in Opentherm, you can not connect a second thermostat directly to the CH.
I can connect the second thermostat in parallel with his OT1 en OT2 connection and the the CH works for a few moments, but the the Opentherm thermostat gives an error (no code).
So, how should I connect the second Nest thermostat? It should be in a slave configuration to the 1e thermostat, who is the Opentherm-master.

Hi StefanBroeders,
Thanks for posting here in the Community forum and for showing interest in our Nest Thermostats.
Are you located in North America or Europe? What is the exact message or code that shows on your thermostat display. To parallel connect two thermostats, instead of using two actual Nest Thermostats, you may install instead a Nest Temperature Sensor so you can control other certain area on your home using just one Nest Thermostat.
Keep us posted. We're happy to help.
Best,
Zoe
