Nest wont reconnect to Wifi.

Reset. Restarted. Google app wont connect to Nest Thermostat. Factory reset Nest Thermostat and now we can’t even get it back “on” without connecting to app. Please help

I wanted to stop by and see how I could help.

@Charlie5, I'm sorry for the trouble this may have caused you. Let's see what's going on.

 

For the Nest Thermostat 2020:

 

  1. Remove the display from the base and take out the batteries for at least 3 minutes before plugging them back in to restart.
  2. Remove the thermostat from the Google Home app.
  3. Try adding it back again.

 

For the Nest Learning Thermostat and the Nest Thermostat E:

 

  1. Reset the account connection in its Reset Settings.
  2. Remove the thermostat from the Nest app.
  3. Reconnect the thermostat to your preferred Wi-Fi network manually in its "Network" settings.
  4. Once connected, go to the "Nest App" in the settings.
  5. Add the device to the app.

 

Please let me know if that helps or if the issue still persists.
