Nest x Google Assistant

Hey, I sold my first generation Nest Thermostat a couple years ago now, before I did I made sure to remove it from my account and factory reset it. Ever since then Google Assistant tells me "1 thing isn't available, you might want to try setting it up again". I've gone into the Nest app and changed the "2 thermostats in the house" to just 1, and now Assistant tells me "3 things aren't available, you might want to set them up again". How do I make this stop? It's supper frustrating! I'm about ready to give up on these devices because I just can't handle this anymore.
