I received a Nest Learning Thermostat in the mail yesterday, set it up and tested successfully. The thermostat goes offline frequently, I can turn it back on and it eventually reboots itself but it keeps shutting off. All of the connections are secure, the wires are flush in the back, no error codes are being reported, all equipment is detected and the power settings all look good. I included a link with some photos including a photo of the previous wiring connection (the current wiring scheme is shown in the equipment detected photo).

Hello mthoodskibum,
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing frequent offline issues with your newly installed Nest Thermostat. Troubleshooting smart home devices can be a bit tricky, but let's try to narrow down the possibilities.
Firstly, double-check the Wi-Fi signal strength in the area where your Nest Thermostat is located. Weak or intermittent Wi-Fi can cause connectivity issues. If the signal is strong, you might want to consider resetting the thermostat and reconnecting it to your Wi-Fi network.
Since you mentioned that all connections are secure and there are no report codes, it's a good sign that the physical installation seems correct. However, given the intermittent nature of the issue, it might be worth inspecting the wiring again to ensure there are no loose connections. Another thing to investigate is whether there are any software updates available for your Nest Thermostat. Usually, it restarts automatically when receiving an update over the air.
Please gather its power readouts in the Technical Info and let us know how it goes.
Best regards,
Mark
