New Nest thermostat setup, "internal error encountered" during terms of service

When I'm setting up with the Home app, I select "no" I do not have a Nest account. At the next screen, I select "I agree" to the Nest supplemental terms... thats when the error "internal error encountered" appears and just refreshes the page! Thank you in advance!

Had this happen as well on my wife's Android during setup.  Viewing the terms of service then clicking I agree seemed to get around the error.

They say my issue is due to it being a G Suite account... although everything was ordered with this email and never mentioned anywhere previously

@Chacha, we recommend using the personal Gmail account when setting up your Google Nest devices.

This is my personal email. I own the business, and all my email comes here. I'm not going to setup another email for nest thermostats... My doorbell, security and thermostats are now standalone.

Funny though, nothing is ever mentioned about the Gsuite emails, even when ordering from that email🤣

You could follow the complete guide here to use your Google Workspace account on your Google Home app.

 

Note: Some Google Home app features are not available for Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) accounts. To access all Google Home app features available in your country, link a personal Gmail account instead.

I am not setting up another google account to link to my home account, just to make these work. Regardless of how open I make the setting for Gsuite, not everything works or syncs. I sent all 6 google items back, including the ones to be used in the business. I no longer need assistance. thank you!
