We purchased a house that has a nest learning thermostat upstairs. The previous owners had a pin code on the thermostat. They did not reset or delete their account prior to moving and they did not provide us with the pin code. We have followed multiple links about reseting it but even to get to the quick view menu it asks for a pin code. As of right now we can not do anything with the thermostat. Is there a way to hard reset the nest without having the previous owners account or pin code?
