New nest thermostat tells me to connect to Google home. Google home tells me “install using the nest

New nest thermostat tells me to connect to Google home. Google home tells me “install using the nest app” for sensor. I scan the QC with the nest app and it tells me to setup thermostat but when setting up thermostat it send me to use Google home. Endless loop here.

I spent hours on phone with support and they are clueless and offer to send a tech to my house for 150-- that's crazy when its a nest issue

The Nest Temperature Sensor only works with the Nest Learning Thermostat, 3rd Gen, and the Nest thermostat E. It will not work with the Google Nest Thermostat (the one with the mirror).

You state you have the Nest Thermostat E which is compatible and you would set the Nest Temperature Sensor up using the Nest App
