Can't connect to nest app via google account

Hi I have a nest thermostat and now trying to connect it to the app. But the nest app just doesn't let me log in via my google account

The Google Nest Thermostat is only compatible with the Google Home App and will not work with the Nest App.

nushi16, I have a few questions to better understand your concern. What type of Nest thermostat do you have? What app are you trying to connect it to? Also, when trying to login to the app, are you getting a specific message?

Please tell me more so I could dig deeper into this.
