Hi, so I had my nest app on my android phone worked perfectly. That phone since died and I’ve changed to iPhone. I’ve downloaded the nest app but I can’t connect because I’ve no idea what email address i linked to the nest app - I literally just set up an email account just for the purpose of using the nest app. I’ve gone to settings and tried a number of the hacks suggested but my thermostat is linked to that now forgotten email address.
My question is if I reset the thermostat back to factory settings , can I download the app on my new phone and just start everything again?
