Next Thermostat doesn't show up in the app

I've had this thermostat for about a year now and recently I kicked someone from the home and it made the thermostat disappear on the app for everyone on it. I tried reinviting them back and it didn't fix it. I can't factory reset it because it requires a pass code and we can't remember the code and can't unlock it from the app because it's not showing up so I need help

Sorry to hear about your thermostat and also for the delayed response. 

 

A few questions ― what type of Nest thermostat is this? Can the previous home member still see the thermostat on his/her Google Home or Nest app? If yes, is it possible that he/she invite you to the home where the thermostat is? Check this out for the steps: https://bit.ly/2K0rOFH

Hey, we got it fixed out the following day, I reached out to a support tram by Google and they got me through in factory resetting our device using a micro-b cable connecting to my pc. Thanks anyway
