No data appearing in the Home App for 4th Gen Nest Thermostat

I recently installed my 4th Gen Next Thermostat and while it is connected to WiFi and able to function manually, when I try to adjust anything from the Home App, there is zero data existing. Tried resetting, both the Nest, network, etc, but to no avail. Open support ticket with Google with no luck as of yet.

With no fix in sight, and my return window closing, I had to return mine. I ended up going with the Honeywell T9. It’s works, and has room sensors. Oh well. I would’ve rather had a working Nest thermostat.

Shame on you Google for ZERO communication about this to your customers.

I installed the 4th gen today and everything worked great. then the thermostat wasn't behaving the same as what was showing in the Nest App. I did all the things including factory reset of the thermostat. Now I can't get the thermostat to show in Nest at all. I have an android.
