No instructions, no manual.

I have always relied on a user's manual, but this generation no longer provides any manual for any device.  The installer I paid $120.00 to have him install my nest thermostat, only explained the ring.  Because it was all new, I had no idea what I would have trouble with.  It turns out I cannot change the nest from cool to heat.  How about some walking through the procedure?

You're right about the lack of manuals.
