They sell you the most expensive thermostat on the market, then they no longer support it. Scam. Its all about better "watching you" capabilities than just having a simple IoT thermostat just doing what it's supposed to do...control heating and cooling. Pushing as usual on consumption...My other thermostat Honeywell still works fine...Oh well..time to move on.

These “no longer supported” moves are highway robbery by corporations  for us to buy new when our old still works. By getting rid of the apps and features we like they are forcing us to buy what we don’t need. I would prefer to go elsewhere. Microsoft  did that last year, trying to force people to buy subscription when we already paid the licensing purchase fee.

This is absolute BS.  There is NO WAY I'm pushing out $149 for a product that does not need to be replaced.  I'm angry I won't be able to use it online the handful of times I've found that handy,  but I am done with Nest.
