Not able to find my thermostat

Do you have to cancel your nest account before merging to google play. I’m getting connecting looking for your thermostat after entering the the entry code

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry for the delay. A few questions: what type of Nest Thermostat do you have? Do you see any codes on your thermostat or in the app? In what country are you located? How far is your Nest Thermostat from the router? Are there devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) near your thermostat? Those devices could interfere with the Wi-Fi or Bluetooth signal. If your Wi-Fi router is dual-band (supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz signals), your Nest Thermostat may connect to one band better than it connects to the other band, depending on your surroundings. Do you know which channel it was connected to?
