Not able to setup sensor

I am trying to add sensor but whenever I am scanning QR could in the nest  app I get a message that my thermostat software needs to be update. The thermostat is running 6.2 22 and whenever I try to update software under setting I get a message that software is up to date .

Hi Hazemjunk,

 

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with setting up your Nest Sensor. I'd love to know more about this and I have a few questions:

 

  • What Nest Thermostat model do you have? 
  • Have you checked if there's an update for the Nest app?

You could also try the following steps if you haven't yet to isolate the issue:

 

  1. Restart the thermostat.
  2. Remove the battery from the sensor for at least 30 seconds, then put it back.
  3. Try setting up the Nest Sensor again.
