Hi!
Is it possible to receive notification if anyone changes the temperature on a Nest E thermostat?
I have extensively looked into the app and could not find anything, so I am also willing to explore if anyone has a suggestion using third party apps, like IFTTT (if it is still supported) or the likes
Thanks!

Hi simraba,
Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.
At the moment, Google Nest products can send you alerts to let you know when something in your home needs your attention. Whether it is push notifications to your phone, emails, or both, they’ll try to alert you about important events, emergencies, and technical issues. Check out this link to know more.
Getting a notification if anyone changes the temperature is not supported but we'll take this as feedback to improve our product and services.
Best regards,
Ryan

I came to ask the same thing- I don’t want to lock it with a PIN because then I may have to share it when I’m out of town and someone does need to change it, but I’d like to at least get an alert when it’s been changed so I can tell the kids to knock it off or set it back myself. I came home to the AC on way too low, for two days it was running almost constantly and I had no idea. 😭
