I'd like to know a couple of details for us to further isolate the issue. Could you check if your Google Nest thermostat is online? You could check this link for a complete guide. Are you getting any error from the app whenever you're trying to control your thermostat? Can you change the temperature manually from the thermostat? Check your Google Home app or Nest app for updates.
