Offline nest thermostat

My nest screen is blank other than the best logo. The app says I’m offline. I have no heating or hot water and can’t put it in any other way. I have recharged the nest as the green light is flashing but it is not updating or switching on. We had this problem in April and you had to send us a new one. Getting frustrated

I'm sorry for the trouble this may have caused you — let's see what's going on.

 

A few questions:

 

  1. What type of Nest thermostat do you have?
  2. Are you getting any wiring report or message code?
  3. Are all the wires of your thermostat seated firmly in its terminals (with no loose or exposed wires)?
  4. How long did you charge with a USB cable?

 

Try the troubleshooting steps here and let is know how it goes.
