On approach not working

I just installed a thermostat and set it to “on approach” but it’s not working. Any ideas why?

@Suzannepla, the Wake on Approach feature will be disabled if your thermostat's battery status is low. You can check your thermostat's power readouts in the "Technical Info" settings for the Nest Learning Thermostat and "Power Info" for the Nest Thermostat 2020 model. Please have a look at this article and let us know if you need more help.
