Our nest screen is hard to turn is there a fix for this

Hi Dave, 

We appreciate your time reaching out to us and regret that you are getting an issue like this. The most common reason why the dial on the Nest thermostat is not rotating properly is that the wires are not properly tucked away at the back of the Nest display. If you grasp the ring and pull it gently towards you as you turn, then give it a few spins, it might reduce the friction on your Nest dial. 

However, if you already had that checked, and you are still getting the same issue, we will send you a private message so we can see if the device is still in a warranty and get it replaced.

Please help . This is my problem. My dial spins but nothing on the screen works. It worked fine  before a month ago. Now it only responds to the Nest app I have on my phone. But it changes temperature to extreme at time. Can I please get some help. My email is tx.bwgm@gmail.com
