Wiring a Nest Thermostat

I have a nest thermostat and have connected the W and R wires from the gas valve on my furnace. I have a 24volt power supply. What terminals on the Nest do I use for those two wires?

Nest help - thermostat off but radiators still hot

We have just installed the Nest thermostat and the radiators have become super hot to touch, we've set the thermostat to off but the room temperature is reading 25 degrees and has not lowered in 30mins. Can someone please help with this?thank you
