Ovverride nest schedule

Hello Google, 

I went on vacation and saw that my thermostat, instead of staying off as per my settings, continued to run non-stop 24 hours a day, because it kept following the schedule. This is because there is no function to pause the schedule, which is absurd. I had to manually delete the schedule. And when I return, I'll have to redo it all over again. Users have been asking for this function for years, which would be very easy to implement. Why don't you do it? Why do you make fun of your consumers? Why?
