PRO1 T701 Thermostat to Nest Learning - Now blowing cold air when set to heat.

I have a Goodman A/C w Heat Pump and a Comfort Fan Coil FX4D. It's a new build home. The builder installed a PRO1 T701 Thermostat. Picture of wiring in link. This won't let me upload photos.  Everything Works fine. I decided to change it to a Nest Learning thermostat. Now when set to heat it blows cold air. I tried switching O to B and back again. Reset Nest. Still blows cold air on heat. Any and all heat appreciated.

I am experiencing a similar but opposite problem:

My wiring is the same as yours, but my AC blows hot air after Nest install. I am guessing it has to do with the Orange wire connecting to the O/B*

I am going to try to hook my old unit back up to get things back to par, then rehook up my Nest without connecting the orange wire.

I'll let you know anything I find, if you'll pass along anything anything that helped your situation

Hi there,

@leschuler, thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry for the delay. Based on your previous wiring you have your white wire connected to W terminal. I suggest moving it from W2 to W1 terminal. Connect your yellow wire back to Y1 terminal. Make sure to turn the breaker off before touching the wires. After that, check if the issue persists.

@Eztoth, please try to change your Nest Thermostat orientation from B orientation to O or O orientation to B.

Best,

Jenelyn
