my Google Nest has stopped connecting to the wifi and cannot find the network, I have tried every step of resetting, as instructed but still no joy

I'm moved your post to it's own topic so we can help you individually and not disrupt the other topic you replied to. I'm assuming you're referring to a Nest Thermostat. Which model do you have?
