Nest thermostat screen is blank

Mine is doing the same. Just a blinking light shows up, while in place on the wall. Google or any screen won’t show up until I remove it from the wall. Then Google loads and says attach back to the wall. Then the screen goes blank again. Mine is a third generation

Thanks for posting. I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing this situation with your Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd Gen that is showing a blank screen and stocking on the Google Load Creen. Don't worry, I can help. I just need to ask for some information to provide the best assistance. 

1. When did the issue first occur?
2. What color of light do you see?
3. Are the power breakers on, and do you receive power to your home?
4. Is the thermostat's display seated properly?
5. Are all the wires on your thermostat seated firmly in its terminals (with no loose or exposed wires)?
6. Does the thermostat charge with a USB cable?

In the main time, please check and share with me the thermostat's power readout under Settings > Technical Info > Power.
