I was wondering if you could help me with me nest wiring set up

The U type terminals are programmable in the honeywell thermostat. I notice that U1 is getting constant power from R. The Honeywell will connect U1 to U1 and that means we need to follow the orange conductor at the other end to see what it is attached to.

How do I go go about doing that?

@Sangphan , go to your air handler/furnace. Find the thermostat cable enters the cabinet and then open that cabinet and then look to see what the orange wire is connected to. If you don’t feel comfortable doing this; this is the best reason of all to hire a Nest Pro.
alternatively, you can put the Honeywell into technician service mode and look at the parameters for you one and see under what conditions it sets that to turn on and that might give you a clue as to what it’s doing.
