Nest Thermostat Shutting down

My thermostat keeps shutting down indicating that the battery needs to be charged. What’s the battery charge and I get the message to connect it back to the base, I’m still getting the thermostat needs to be charged message and will not restart. I have tried several times to charge it continue to get the connected back to the base and still after several attempts the same problem.

@Shahid316 ,

I have seen this problem on older Nest Learning Thermostats when the internal battery looses its ability to take on and/or hold a charge.
I am guessing your Google Nest Learning Thermostat is a few years old now?

There is no ability to open and replace the internal battery. The only option is to consider purchasing a new Google Nest Learning Thermostat.
