I bought the nest learning thermostat and mistakenly put it on its base without screwing it to the stand.
Now it keeps falling and idk how to remove the nest from the base.

Hi Rodrigoe,
Thanks for posting in the Google Nest Community forum. You can remove the Nest Learning Thermostat display from its base, by holding the display's metal outer ring with your fingers and then pull it directly away from the wall, leaving the base behind.
Best,
Jenelyn

I'll re-explain my problem since the answer doesn't help me:
I've attached my Thermostat to the base instead of first screwing it to the Stand.
Now the thermostat keeps falling from the stand (because it isn't screwed).
So my problem is: how do I remove the thermostat from the base so I can screw the base to the stand?

Hi there,
Thanks for getting back to us. I understand this can be confusing, but I wanted to clarify: could you please tell us the Nest Thermostat model you have and from what country are you posting from?
I'll look forward to your response.
Regards,
Mark
