For the last several days I have been unable to use the iOS nest app. I sign in and, within seconds of my thermostat showing up, I am signed out by the app. My iPhone is on the latest iOS version, and the Nest app is updated.
I have restarted my phone a couple of times as well as removing and reinstalling the Nest app.
I can control the thermostat through other connected apps such as Google Home and Alexa - but not the nest app. I think there is a bug in the app that needs to be addressed.

Yes. And it’s freaking annoying. Even password reset emails are not being received. Google is having a massive issue and is disappointing.

Hello everyone,
I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with your Nest app on your iOS device. I'd be happy to take a look at this.
Please ensure that the Nest app's permission is allowed in the phone's settings. Also, disable the settings that allow cross-site tracking. Go to Settings > Safari > Cross-Site Tracking. Then, restart the phone to refresh before attempting to reopen the Nest app.
Keep me posted if that helps.
Regards,
Mark

Hey there,
I don't want to be a nudge, but I'd like to check if you were able to check your phone's settings. Feel free to reach out again if you still need help.
Thanks,
Mark

Mark,
Yes, I checked my phones settings. Cross-Site Tracking was already set to be not allowed. And the only access setting for Nest that is off is notifications.
I am still having the issue. I open the app, log in to my google account, and then get logged out about 2 seconds after my thermostat/home shows up in the app. No change.

Hi folks,
@danielm801, thanks for following the steps given by Mark. Have you tried to check if the same thing happens on another device, such as another phone or tablet? If you have an Android phone, I'd recommend you check on it as well, then let us know how it goes.
@Mttkf, I want to check if you are still in need of any help. Please let me know, as I would be happy to assist and answer any questions you may have.
I appreciate your help, Mark.
Best,
Zoe
