Replacing Honeywell Thermostat with ERV

Trying to determine whether I can replace my existing Honeywell thermostat with Nest 4th generation. My Honeywell thermostat appears to have two ‘U’ wires that control an ERV.

I also had that on my Honeywell model, but I hooked mine up just fine without that u wire
