Hi @brmckeown,

Thank you so much for posting in this community. I understand that you’re receiving a safety alert saying that your indoor temperature is 95 degrees when it’s not. No worries; I’m here to help.

To provide you with accurate troubleshooting steps, please help me answer the following questions:

  • What model of thermostat do you have? If you’re unable to identify it, refer to this article: How to tell which Nest thermostat you have
  • When did the issue start?
  • When was the thermostat installed?
  • Where did you install your thermostat? (in a room and on a wall or stand)
  • How big is the difference between the readout of the Nest thermostat and your thermometer or other thermostats?
  • Is the problem continuous or under specific circumstances?
  • Have you tried any troubleshooting steps? If so, would you mind listing them?.
  • Can you attach a picture of the alert that you receive?

If you have any additional details that might be relevant, please don’t hesitate to share.

Regards,

Daniel
