Hi I wanted to change my account on the temperature sensor as I converted it to google account. I tried to reset the temperature sensor . I tired removing the battery and left it for a couple of minutes and tried adding it to the new account. However it’s still tell me that the sensor is connected to another account. How can I disconnect it from the old account. Any help appreciated.

A couple of minutes isn't long enough for it to factory reset. Try leaving the battery out for at least 48 hours. It might also be worth trying inserting a new different battery.

Who programmed these things? Wait 48 hours to be able to use a product?!
