Scheduling - I stopped the learning auto scheduling a long time ago in preference to standard schedule twice a day
problem:
sometimes, the heating doesn’t come on until I activate the Nest thermostat by waving in front of it or clicking the front OR going to the Nest App, then I see the heating “turn on”
this has happened quite a few times, like this morning when I checked the App from bed as it felt cold, heating should have come on at 08:00 and at 09:30 it was 16deg and the heating only came on as I opened the App???
the thermostat is probably around 5 years old
