It takes a few hours for the house to come up to temperature, particularly if it’s cold outside, when I have been away and I am always forgetting to turn it off Eco in time before I return home. Is there any way to set up an automatic Calendar action to turn Eco off so the house is warm when I get home? Ideal would be something where, when I leave and set it to Eco it asks me when (day & time) I want Eco turned back off or when I am going to be back so it can work out the pre-heating time and switch it on appropriately. I’m sure I’m not the only one with the problem.

Hi TonyR1,
Thanks for reaching out to us. Setting up an automatic calendar action to turn off Eco mode on your thermostat is a great idea for ensuring your home is warm when you return. Have you tried to set up schedules on your thermostat where you can set the thermostat to your preferred heating or cooling degree? If you have the Nest Learning Thermostat, follow this temperature schedules for the Nest Learning Thermostat guide.
Let us know how it goes.
Best,
Zoe
