Scheduling increments smaller than 15mins

Hi,

Is there a way of setting the heating/hot water schedules using increments smaller than 15mins?

I want to be able to shave minutes of my schedules but not whole 15mins.

Why? It's better for my pocket with higher fuel prices and its better for my carbon footprint.

Hey njk,

Sorry for the late reply. I wanted to follow up and ensure you are good to go. Please let me know if you are still having any trouble from here, as I would be happy to take a closer look and assist you further.

Best regards,
Jake

Hi Jake,

It's quite a simple query, can I set my schedule in increments of less than 15mins? At the moment (as far as I'm aware) you can only set times of say 11.30, 11.45, 12.00 etc. I would like to be able to set times in smaller increments of say 5mins - 11.25, 11.50, 12.10 etc.

Cheers,

Nigel.

I requested this feature about 3 years ago and they've still not done anything. It's ridiculous. Surely the whole point of this thing being 'smart'and digital is that you could set it exactly how you want.

And here it is mid 2023 and the Nest can still only do 1 hour increments. The cost of replacing it is worth the energy savings for me

Also, I can only schedule my hot water in 30min increments - my energy prices have tripled in the last 6months and set to increase further so the ability to reduce my heating/hot water schedules by 5 or 10mins a day will make a huge difference to my rising bills - time to do something don't you think?
