Second Nest thermostat failed

I purchased a Nest thermostat shortly after I moved into my home in November of 2021.  After 2 months in January it failed.  At first I did not realize it was an issue with the Nest, but a service call from an HVAC company cleared that up.  They reinstalled the old original thermostat.  In the meantime I got in touch with Google that provided me with a replacement for the failed Nest under warranty.  This was reinstalled and lasted one year and two weeks until early February 2023 (out of warranty).  Another service call to the HVAC company confirmed my suspicion, it was the Nest Thermostat that again failed.  Each HVAC service call cost over $200, so I cannot say that Nest Thermostats have saved me much money.  I do not have the impression that Nest Thermostats are of good quality, so I am switching to another brand.

Still working with Google support.  No change, waiting for a replacement back plate.

Still waiting for a confirmation from Google that you have received my return.  According to Fedex it was returned on 2/23/2023, but the Google RMA status has not updated yet.
