Set heating to come on in mornings

How can I set the temperature to rise before I get up in the morning? I have tried to do this on the app, but nothing happens when I select a time on the schedule.  The house is so cold in the mornings and I would like the temperature to rise half hour before I get up.

There is a setting call "Early On" that you would want to activate.  Also be sure that the system time on the thermostat is correct, as that could also account for the issue.

Hi, yes thank you also Ashepherdson for the reply.  It didn't work for me as I don't have the "early on" setting, but turns out I have the learning thermostat, so after 2 days it has learnt to turn on when my alarm goes off, so heats the house for when I get up.  I also figured I can use my Google speaker to tell it to turn on.  Thank you both for your replies.
