Set up says it’s not compatable with my system.

My set up said my system is not compatible.

I have a Lennox Pulse furnace that is on natural gas and traditional exterior AC unit that runs on electric. A/C is on a 220.

The associated letters for each that show on the thermostat are

G = Green, R=Red, Y=Yellow, W=White,

O and B listed but I can’t see if a wire is attached to these two.

I re-ran compatibility without the O and B and it continues as compatible. I guess I need to see if those have wires, if not I may be on business.

Hi Jcutler81,

Thanks for posting! I'm happy to help you with this compatibility check. I reviewed the photo and it seems you don't have any wire connected to the O and B terminals, so you can disregard those. I used the Thermostat Compatibility Checker tool and it indicates that a Nest thermostat should be compatible with your system. However, Nest thermostats are only compatible with 24V systems. If your system uses high voltage like 110V, 120V, or 220V, then a Nest thermostat won't work.

Regards,

Axel.
