Setting home/away different rooms 3rd gen learning

I have 3 thermostats for our air con and trying to get the best settings

Living room - manually adjust as we use it very adhoc and are often in/out of this room

Office - sensor. I use this for a few hours inconsistently so no real schedule but often forget to turn it off

Bedroom - also used as office by the wife and used the most. The problem we have with this room is that the aircon turns off when we are asleep which causes us to wake up because we are too hit. Wave at the sensor then it comes on but we want to keep it on at night even when we don't move.

We are 2 people connected to home. So we want all to go into Eco when we are both away.

Hello Chris0812,

Thanks for posting here in the community and I understand if you wanted to have your Nest Thermostat to go on Eco mode when both of you are away. First, you need to turn on your home and away assist . Make sure that your phone is selected under the what decides option to trigger the home and away mode. Lastly make sure that your Eco mode is on.

You may check these links for your reference.

Looking forward to your response.

Emerson

Hi everyone,

Just one quick final check in here since activity has slowed down. We'll be locking the thread in the next 24 hours, but if you still need help, I would be happy to keep it open. If there's more we can do, just let me know.

Thanks,
